170 days of consecutive posting – it will be interesting to go back at the end of the year and remind myself what 2023 contained…
As for yesterday? Very similar to the previous three days in that I’m chipping away at ‘Z’ to keep my writing muscles active – yet all the while waiting for a spark of a new idea to come along which may trump it.
I also sent out electronic review copies of 17 Alma Road to about 10 beta readers. I wonder what they will make of it? And I was engaged in a very short Twitter conversation about AI. The lesson from that is a simple one: make sure you define your terms before you debate something like AI. “You say potato and I say potato”…
I would like to do a little something in addition to more ‘Z’ today. Given that’s the case I may need to ‘force’ something – or perhaps give myself a stiff talking to, something I tend to use my writing notebooks for. It’s there that I will kick around ideas, ask questions of myself, rule projects in or out… And all the while in the background the house move looms a little larger each day, occupies an additional few brain cells…
