Oddly enough, one new thing came out of yesterday‘s start of box-packing for our upcoming move: the draft of a new poem! Perhaps that’s an example of there always being something to write about. Who would have thought putting books and DVDs into cardboard boxes could be so rewarding?!
On a more serious note I’m keeping up the pace with my ‘Z’ draft. It feels like I’ve done a great deal but I’m still only in the foothills.
A little variety today as I’m off to a poetry reading group in Northallerton this morning. I haven’t been for a little while, so it will make a nice change. It will also be my last visit; the first in my ‘signing off’ from the various local groups to which I belong.
In addition to that I hope to eke out some more ‘Z’ this afternoon – and pack some more boxes of course!
