Having pulled together the rough draft of New Contexts: 5 yesterday, the next stage is to check through each piece one at a time to validate formatting and how it looks on the page, and to see whether there are any edits to be made. I will then contact each author in turn to let them know I would like to include their work(s), and to get permission to do so.
There are fifty-seven contributors, so this will not be a five-minute job!
That was it for yesterday – other than some more positive news on the house move. We’re hopeful it all becomes formal and final tomorrow or Tuesday.
Oh, and I found myself writing a Haiku in the bathroom around 1 a.m. Does that count as yesterday or today…?
Today‘s one real commitment is to start working through the 57 communications that need to go out to NC:5 contributors. Attention still needs to be paid to the detail, and I will have to read every piece again. By the time the book is finally ready I will probably have read it the equivalent of four or five times.
So, better get on with it…
