Time to look back / forward. How did I get on last week?

  • Meetings and Events –
    • attend North Yorkshire Stanza; YES
    • attend SoA workshop on ‘Twitter for Writers’. YES
  • Writing projects –
    • start drafting a new short story; NO
    • continue drafting the new poetic monologue (working title Bound); YES
    • recording seven more sonnets for ‘Sonnet Man’; YES
    • finished getting Crash ready for BBC submission; NEW
    • two new podcast posts; NEW
    • trying to work on some new poems. YES
  • Coverstory books –
    • processing submissions as they come in for the Short Story collection and New Contexts: 6; YES
    • investigating Duotrope as an alternative for / additional to Submittable. NEW
  • Sundries –
    • meeting the reporter for ‘The Rasen Mail’. Postponed a week

Particularly pleased with the progress on “Bound” – and with my first sessions using the University of Lincoln library.

So, in terms of writing-related events and writing itself, what does the next week hold?

    • attend Lincoln Creative Writers’ meeting.
  • Writing projects –
    • start drafting a new short story;
    • continue working on Bound;
    • work on Character profiles and timelines for the possible futuristic novel;
    • recording seven more sonnets for ‘Sonnet Man’;
    • trying to work on some new poems.
  • Coverstory books –
    • processing submissions as they come in for the Short Story collection and New Contexts: 6.
  • Sundries –
    • meeting the reporter for ‘The Rasen Mail’.
