Yesterday was something of a modest smorgasbord of activity: a Crash read-through, a very small amount of work on “C”, some NC:5 and Contextual admin, and – most notably – getting the ball rolling for a virtual book launch on 22nd May.
A number of people have already requested links for the Zoom launch event, and I have started thinking about what I will read.
These four books represent many, many weeks of work; in the case of not the Sonnets, the project has lasted some five years. It will be great to debut all four books in a fitting manner:
Today, however, is all about heading off to the Garsdale Retreat for five days of concentrated creative effort. Without doubt it is a real treat, and one I have been looking forward to since I booked it last November. One of my short story collections, Degrees of Separation, was born from work at Garsdale, and I travel in hope of similar magic this year..!
