I have just published a new episode to my Walking Thru’ Fire podcast. You can find the episode here or via any good podcast provider e.g. Audible, Spotify, Amazon books, Apple etc.
Given Shakespeare’s own sonnets are the major influence behind my collection, Not the Sonnets (to be published later this year), it seemed only right and proper to conclude it with more than a nod to the Bard.
In each of these four poems I have adopted a somewhat slanted view of proceedings from four of the plays as seen by one of the major characters. They are, in order: the Friar, from Romeo and Juliet; Gloucester, in King Lear; Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream; and Macbeth in Macbeth.
I hope you like them.
